Seedream 5 Flash Is Now in Karya: Quick Images and Edits for 3 Credits

Seedream 5 Flash is now in Karya. It is the quick, affordable tier in the Seedream 5 line, sitting alongside Seedream 5 Pro. It handles text-to-image generation and image editing with up to 10 reference images, and it costs a flat 3 credits per image whatever size you pick.

What Seedream 5 Flash does

Flash is the model to reach for when you want a good image fast and do not need the extra precision of the Pro tier.

• Text-to-image from a plain-language prompt.
• Editing with up to 10 reference images.
• Three sizes: 1K, 1.5K and 2K, all at the same price.
• Eight aspect ratios, from square and portrait to 16:9 and 21:9.

How to use it in Karya

Open Image Studio and choose Seedream 5 Flash. Write your prompt, pick an aspect ratio and a size, and generate. To edit, choose Seedream 5 Flash Edit, add your reference images and describe the change. Karya shows the credit cost on the button before you commit.

Since 1K, 1.5K and 2K cost the same, there is no saving in going smaller. Start at 2K unless you specifically want a lighter file.

Pricing

Karya shows the exact credit cost before you generate, and unused credits never expire.

• Seedream 5 Flash, any size: 3 credits per image.
• Seedream 5 Flash Edit, any size: 3 credits per image.

What to try first

Run a prompt through Seedream 5 Flash first to check composition and mood for 3 credits. If the draft needs more precision, such as a region-level edit or a multi-reference fusion, take the same prompt to Seedream 5 Pro for the final version.
