Terms of Service

1. The agreement

By creating an account on Karya, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Karya is operated by the team behind The AI Ad Lab. Contact: hello@karya.app.Replace this contact email and business details with yours before going live.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Karya. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. One account per person. Don't share accounts.

3. Credits

  • Credits are virtual tokens used to pay for AI generations inside Karya.
  • Credits never expire as long as your account is active.
  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.
  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
  • If a generation fails for any reason on our side or upstream, the credits are automatically refunded to your balance.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be cashed out.
  • If your account is deleted (by you or by us), any unused credits are forfeited.

4. Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By topping up, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provided. Stripe's terms apply to the payment transaction itself. Prices are shown in USD.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use Karya to generate, distribute, or facilitate:
  • Sexual or sexually suggestive content depicting minors, in any form.
  • Non-consensual sexual content of real people (NCII / deepfakes).
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
  • Disinformation or impersonation intended to defraud, defame, or harass.
  • Content that violates the laws of your jurisdiction or ours.
  • Content that violates the terms of the underlying AI providers (kie.ai, muapi.ai, and the model owners).
  • Automated traffic that abuses the service (scraping, denial-of-service, rate-limit evasion).
Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Ownership of generated content

You own the outputs you generate, subject to the licenses of the underlying AI models you pick. We retain the right to display your generations privately in your history rail. We do not republish your generations or use them to train models.

7. Service availability

Karya is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Upstream AI providers occasionally have outages; in those cases, your credits are protected by the automatic refund policy in Section 3.

8. Liability disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karya and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the prior 6 months.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users. Continued use of Karya after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Karya operator is registered.Replace this clause with the specific country / state of your registered business before going live.
