Seedance Just Got Up to 34% Cheaper - and MiniMax H3 Has a New 42-Credit Budget Tier

Price drop, effective today: every Seedance tier in Karya is roughly a third cheaper, MiniMax H3 2K costs less, and H3 gains a brand-new 480p budget tier starting around 42 credits for a 6-second clip. Nothing else changed - same models, same quality, same controls.

The new Seedance prices

• Seedance 2.0 (Standard) - a 5-second 720p clip: 179 credits before, 124 now.
• Seedance 2.0 Fast - 144 before, 100 now.
• Seedance 2.0 Mini - 90 before, 62 now. A full clip of serious AI video for well under one US dollar.
• Seedance 2.5 - 276 before, 181 now for 5 seconds at 720p. The biggest single cut, at about 34%.
• Marketing Studio draft and HD tiers - down by the same proportion.

MiniMax H3: a new 42-credit budget tier

MiniMax H3 already had 768p and 2K. It now has a third, cheaper option: 480p, at about 42 credits for a 6-second clip - half the 768p price - and it keeps the thing that makes H3 special, native stereo audio generated with the video. For drafts, storyboards, social clips and high-volume testing, it is now the cheapest serious text-to-video in Karya.

The 2K tier got a trim too: a 6-second 2K clip drops from about 137 credits to 115.

Same models, same quality

These are the exact same models producing the exact same output. What changed is behind the scenes: we optimized how generations are routed across our infrastructure, negotiated better rates, and passed the difference straight to the credit prices. No quality tradeoff, no queue tradeoff, no feature was removed.

As always, the price pill next to the Generate button shows the exact cost before you commit, you only pay for generations that complete, and credits never expire. If you stocked up on credits before today, they just got more valuable.

What this means in practice

A $3 Mini pack (300 credits) now covers four 5-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clips instead of three, or seven 6-second MiniMax H3 480p clips with audio. A $15 Pro pack (1,800 credits) runs about fourteen standard Seedance 2.0 clips - enough to iterate a real ad campaign, not just test one.
